Mr Webb was admitted to practice as a barrister of the Supreme Court of
New South Wales in Lent Term of 1994 at 27 years of age. He has practised as a
full time member of the private bar in the criminal jurisdiction since that
time, for the defence.
Mr Webb has extensive experience in assisting clients
charged under the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW), The Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act
1985 (NSW) and Commonwealth criminal legislation.
Mr Webb has an honours degree in Philosophy, a Bachelor of Laws from the
University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He is a Doctor of
Philosophy in English and has published in English Literature.
In 2011 Mr Webb was appointed a
Statutory Tutor by the New South Wales Bar Association. Mr Webb was also appointed in 2011 to the
Complex Criminal Trial Panel by Chief Executive Officer of the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales.
